Project Greenweb
tree.gifIt’s no secret that the state of our environment is a constant battle and must always remain in the back of everyones thoughts. From recycling, to picking up litter, to not leaving your bedroom light onwhen you go out.. these are all seemingly small tasks that actually amount to a lot. The better we do now, the better future generations will have it.

So, what does this have to do with Cinch? We’re just a design firm.. what could we possibly do?

Well, anytime from here on, for a small donation, Cinch Creative Media will offer to plant a tree in your business or organizations’name, with the purchase of a new product or service. Launching a new website? Cleaning up an old one? Re-branding your businesses’ logo? You might as well plant a tree while you’re at it! When you sign up for Greenweb, Cinch will buy a young, healthy tree from our local nursery, and plant it somewhere within our local community, in your name! Who wouldn’t want to be able to say they helped make a difference in the community? Future generations will thank you for it!

Make A Difference, Starting Today!

Just in case it may seem as though planting one tree won't do much, we dusted off some of our favorite tree facts for you. Any one of the reasons below are enough to plant a tree, let alone all of them!

  • In 50 years one tree recycles more than $37,000 worth of water, provides $31,000 worth of erosion control, $62,000 worth of air pollution control, and produces $37,000 worth of oxygen.
  • Two mature trees provide enough oxygen for a family of four.
  • Trees help reduce the "greenhouse effect" by absorbing CO2. One acre of trees removes 2.6 tons of CO2 per year.
  • By cooling the air and ground around them, the shade from trees helps cool the Earth's temperature.
  • Trees help prevent city flooding by catching raindrops and offsetting runoff caused by buildings and parking lots.
  • Hospital patients heal faster, require shorter stays and less painkillers if room windows face trees.
  • A tree-line buffer between fields and streams helps remove farming pollutants before they reach the water.
  • Well placed trees help cut energy costs and consumption by decreasing air conditioning costs 10-50% & reducing heating costs as much as 4-22%.
  • Tree bark and fruit have many medicinal properties, which are still being discovered.
  • Trees increase property values by 5 to 20% due to their landscaping value.
